How to Summon Mythic Units

Master Anime Expeditions summoning: Beginner Banner, Standard and Mini banners, Legendary pity at 20, Mythic pity at 50, and optimal 10x pull strategy.

Summoning is the heart of Anime Expeditions. Mythic units define your team's ceiling in story, raids, and challenges — and the game gives you several banner types, a transparent pity system, and bulk pull options to chase them. Understanding how each banner works and when to use 10x pulls separates players who roll blindly from those who guarantee high-rarity units efficiently.

Banner Types Explained

Anime Expeditions splits summons across three main banner categories. The Beginner Banner (also called the Starter Event banner) is unlocked by completing the True Saint Beginner Path quests. It features every Mythic unit in the game and is available only during your early progression window — use it before it expires. The Standard Banner is the permanent pool with rotating rates. The Mini Banner spotlights a single featured Mythic with boosted rates for that unit, ideal when a meta-defining character is highlighted.

  • Beginner Banner: All Mythics available, unlocked via Beginner Path quests
  • Standard Banner: Permanent pool, use for long-term pity building
  • Mini Banner: Single featured Mythic with rate-up
  • Event Banners: Limited-time banners during Banner Blitz and release events

The Pity System: 20 Legendary, 50 Mythic

Every banner tracks two pity counters displayed on the summon screen. Legendary Pity guarantees a Legendary-or-higher unit every 20 pulls without a Legendary drop. Mythic Pity guarantees a Mythic unit every 50 pulls without a Mythic drop. These counters are visible as "0/20" and "0/50" on the UI and persist per banner — they do not reset when you pull a lower rarity unless that pull satisfies the pity tier. If you pull a Legendary at pull 18, your Legendary pity resets to zero but your Mythic pity keeps counting.

Plan your gem spending around pity breakpoints. If you are at 45/50 Mythic pity, a 10x pull guarantees at least one Mythic from the counter alone, plus whatever natural drops the 10 rolls produce. Never single-pull when you are within 10 of a Mythic pity cap unless you are gem-starved — the 10x button is strictly more efficient for hitting thresholds.

Why You Should Use Summon 10x

The Summon 10x option performs ten pulls at once at the same per-pull gem cost. Beyond saving time, bulk pulling lets you cross pity thresholds in a single action and reduces the variance of bad streaks. Combine 10x pulls with Luck Potions or Super Luck Potions from the store during Banner Blitz events for temporarily boosted Mythic rates. VIP gamepass holders also receive reduced summon costs, making 10x sessions cheaper over time.

Beginner Banner Strategy

The Beginner Banner is the highest-value summon pool in the game. Complete all five pages of Beginner Path quests to maximize your Beginner Banner tickets before spending paid gems. Featured Mythics on this banner include Puppet, String Demon, Hollow, Lady Giant, Elf Mage, Flame Emperor, Salmon Sorcerer, and Cursed Student — all viable for early story and challenge content. Pull in 10x batches until you hit Mythic pity or obtain two strong damage dealers plus one Yen farmer from your results.

After the Beginner Banner ends or you exhaust its tickets, transition to the Standard Banner for general pity building or wait for Mini Banner rate-ups on units that fit your team gap. Check the Rates button on every banner before pulling — drop percentages are listed transparently, and featured units are marked separately from off-banner Mythics.

Perguntas Frequentes

Does pity carry over between banners?

Pity counters are tracked per banner. Your Beginner Banner pity is separate from Standard and Mini Banner pity. Always check the counter on the banner you are actively pulling.

What happens when I hit 50 Mythic pity?

You are guaranteed a Mythic unit on that pull. The Mythic pity counter resets to zero after the guaranteed drop, but your Legendary pity continues independently.

Is the Beginner Banner worth using all tickets on?

Yes. It is the only banner featuring every Mythic at once with early-game pity. Exhaust Beginner Banner tickets before spending gems elsewhere.

Should I save gems for Mini Banner rate-ups?

If a featured Mini Banner unit fits your team needs and you are not close to Mythic pity on Standard, saving for rate-up banners is smart. Otherwise, Standard pity grinding is safer for guaranteed results.

Do Luck Potions affect pity counters?

Luck Potions boost natural drop rates but do not change pity thresholds. You still guarantee a Mythic at 50 pulls regardless of active potions.
